The American Red Cross-Hawaii routinely offers training in various areas of emergency health care and response to community safety issues.
Some Red Cross trainings can be taken in two ways: online blended learning or full course.
Online blended learning is convenient, with shorter training time. It involves about one hour of online learning and a two-hour classroom session.
Traditional classroom training involves an instructor, with video, book work and hands-on skills running from four to 10 hours.
Each month, several classes are offered via the Red Cross Hilo office at 55 Ululani St.
